Renuka Jagtiani is the chairwoman of Middle East retailing giant Landmark Group, based in Dubai.
Landmark was founded in 1973 as a single store in Bahrain by her late husband Micky Jagtiani, who died in 2023.
Today, Landmark has 2,500 stores spread across 11 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent.
As head of the company, Jagtiani oversees strategy and new business opportunities.
Her three children, Aarti, Nisha and Rahul, are group directors at Landmark.
She's looking to invest 1.2 billion AED ($335 million) to set up 115 new stores and to beef up digitization, product and supply chain across the group.
